Nace en Triana el 15 de octubre de 1775. Sus padres tenían
unos tejares en el barrio. Ordenado sacerdote en 1803, fue
un superdotado que con 13 años ocupó la Cátedra de
Matemáticas de la Sociedad de Amigos del País.
Con 14 fue bachiller en Filosofia, con 20 bachiller en
Teología, con 23 Cátedra de Matemáticas en el colegio San
Diego de Sevilla, y con 33 Cátedra de Retórica y Poesía en
la Universidad de Sevilla. Murió el 5 de Octubre de 1848.

He was born in Triana on the 15 October, 1775. His parents
owned some workshops in the neighborhood. He became an
ordained priest in 1803 and, being a gifted child, at the age of
13 started to teach in the Mathematics department at the
Society of Friends of the Country.
At 14 he graduated from bachelor’s program in philosophy, at
20 in theology. When he turned 23 he headed Mathematics
department in San Diego college, Seville, and at 33 Rhetoric
and Poetry department at the University of Seville. Died
October, 5 1848.
