Fue un matador de toros, que nació en la calle Feria el 14 de 

abril de 1892, y se afincó de niño en Triana. Junto a Joselito 

abanderó la edad de oro del toreo,

desarrollándose su carrera entre 1913 y 1936.

Se suicidó en su finca de Utrera el 8 de abril de 1962.

He was a toreador born on Feria street on the 14 of April, 

1882 who settled down in Triana in his early years. Together 

with Joselito he personified the golden age of bullfighting. His 

career developed from 1913 to 1936. Committed suicide on 

his ranch in Utrera on the 8 of April, 1962.
