LAS ALMONAS REALES DE TRIANA

Aquí se conservan los restos de las que fueran Almonas 

Reales, fábrica donde se elaboraba el famoso "Jabón 

Sevillano" que se embarcaba para América, Inglaterra y 

Flandes. La casa ducal de Alcalá tuvo dominio sobre ella por 

privilegio real desde el siglo XVI al XIX.

Here one can find preserved the remains of what used to be 

“Almonas Reales”, the factory that produced the famous 

“Seville Soap” that was shipped off to the USA, England, and 

Flanders. The Ducal House of Alcalá had dominion over it by 

royal privilege from XVI to XIX century.
