En 1959 Manolo Ortiz Cabielles, un montañés de Comillas,
fundó este lugar RESTAURANTE CASA MANOLO y, a partir
de 1970, su hijo Manolo Ortiz Gómez, trianero de Chapina, lo
afianzó. Desde entonces el humo de sus fogones se ha
mezclado con el de los alfareros y ceramistas, dando el
toque de olor y sabor que nunca faltó a Triana.

In 1959 Manolo Ortiz Cabielles, a highlander from Comillas
founded here his RESTAURANT CASA MANOLO and,
starting from 1970, his son Manolo Ortiz Gómez, a Triana
native from Chapina, preserved it. Since then the smoke of its
stoves has been mixing with one from pottery and ceramic
workshops, creating the touch of smell and flavor that never
lacked to Triana.
