En el tejar del husillo de la Cava de los Civiles donde su 

padre ejercía de maestro alfarero, nació el 16 de julio de 

1944  el escritor Ángel Vela Nieto quien, deslumbrado por la 

grandeza de Triana, trató de divulgar su singularidad para 

orgullo de los trianeros y provecho de Sevilla.

ENGLISH

In the pottery workshop attic of the Cava de los Civiles, where 

his father was a master potter, the writer Ángel Vela Nieto 

was born on the 16th of July of 1944, who, dazzled by the 

greatness of Triana, tried his best to transmit its uniqueness 

for the pride of Triana locals and the profit of Seville.
