En el solar que ocupan estas casas, se levantó el antiguo
hospital de Santa Catalina (s. XVI) situado en la calle del
mismo nombre hoy de Pelay Correa perteneciente al gremio
de los olleros de Triana, ubicándose estos,
entre las calles Olleros y Confesos,
hoy Pureza y Rodrigo de Triana respectivamente.

The old hospital of Santa Catalina (XVI century) was erected
on the site nowadays occupied by these buildings, and
located on the street with the same name, which
today is called Pelay Correa and belongs to Triana Potters’
guild, which, in its turn, is located, between Olleros and
Confesos streets today called Pureza
and Rodrigo de Triana, respectively.
