Situado aquí "El Corral de San José", en el corazón del
Zurraque, en 1949 nació Francisco Álvarez Martín, conocido
con el nombre de PACO TARANTO
Artista considerado patriarca y albacea de los cantes de
Triana, e intérprete magistral de la soleá alfarera, por lo que
fue nombrado "Trianero de Honor" en Julio de 2016.
En recuerdo de su maestría exclusiva.

Here, in the heart of Zurraque, the so called Corral de San
José used to be, where in 1949 Francisco Álvarez Martín
known by the name of PACO TARANTO was born.
An artist, considered to be the patriarch and an expert
performer of Triana singing, as well as masterful interpreter of
soleá alfarera for which he was awarded the title of “Honorary
Triana Native” in July 2016.
